Niven Racing             Sponsorship Packages
Here is your chance to get in on an up and coming race team. Pro-Tech Motorsports has already earned the respect of fellow competitors in a short amount of time. Please allow me this time to explain some of the benefits we can offer your company.
I. Double Market Coverage
A. Our team consists of two cars. The first is an asphalt track, Street Stock class. Our second car is a dirt track, Super Street class. This allows us to target consumers in two separate arenas, enabling our sponsors to be seen in a wider territory.
B. Research has found that race fans are among the most brand loyal consumers. They are more likely to purchase products from a company which supports the sport or driver that they enjoy watching.
II. Maximum Advertisement Space
A. As mentioned above, our sponsor will be proudly displayed on each car to be seen at various racing events.
B. The sponsors name and logo may also be displayed on the race trailer, providing even more marketing coverage. Not only is the trailer seen at the racing events which we attend, but it will also be seen traveling to and from these events. This will provide even more advertising among many major highways as well as local roads. The trailer is a 24 foot enclosed car hauler, which allows plenty of space for creative designs.
C. The team tow vehicle is also available for more space and even more area coverage. Along with it being seen going to and coming from race events, and at the actual events, it is also seen traveling on numerous shop errands (picking up parts, supplies, etc).
D. All of the above may be arranged to also be seen at the sponsor’s events such as sales, grand openings, celebrations, etc. We would be glad to work with you on these arrangements.
III. Additional Sales Force
A. We will work with you to ensure that our drivers and crew members are well informed on your company’s product and services. This will help us to promote your business during events. It’s like adding an entire outside sales team to your company.
B. Banners, displays, literature, samples, etc. (to be supplied by the sponsor) will also be set up at our pit location for spectators as well as competitors to see.
C. If notified in advance we will provide accommodations (seats, refreshments, snacks, etc.) for you and/or your guests at racing events. In fact we encourage our sponsors to come out and see the hard work, dedication, and pride our team puts into providing the best representation of their company, as well as a good show for the fans. Tickets and/or Pit Passes are to be provided by the sponsor unless arranged for in advance.

Sponsorship packages may be arranged to suit your needs including all of the above benefits or only the ones
you choose. We are also willing to hear any other suggestions or offers you may have to better suit your company.

RACE UPDATES


June 21, 2008 – Shelby County Speedway
First weekend out to test/race the #81 car. We feel our first outing was a success. Our team finished with a fourth place finish in the feature event with no damage sustained to our equipment. The car handled well straight off the trailer. Our next event will be July 4th and 5th also at Shelby County Speedway. We will be making a few minor chassis adjustments in the shop to prepare for this event.

Meanwhile, preparations have also begun on the #3 car for its return to the track on June 28th at Sayre Speedway. This will be a double points event for Steven Niven, Jr. and we wish him the best of luck.


June 28, 2008 – Sayre Speedway
Saturday night was full of excitement for the Pro-Tech team as well as an awesome show for the fans. During Practice the motor sounded great; however the car was handling tight in the turns. We managed to make the necessary adjustments to free up the car before the race. Steven and the #3 Pro-Tech car were involved in some exciting racing, including a three wide incident which left us with some cosmetic damage to the right fender and door panel. However, Steven managed to keep the car straight and continue. Towards the end of the race, the #3 car lost power steering and cooling due to the motor throwing a belt, and eventually had to pull into the pits with 2 laps to go. Overall we feel it was a good night of racing and we were able to make some good notes for our Sayre Speedway setup book.

As the #3 returns to the shop for repairs and preparation for its next race, the #81 car is ready for Shelby County Speedway on July 4th and 5th.
